On July 25th, the Grassroots Shakespeare Company performed the hilariously witty All's Well That Ends Well, as part of Kingsbridge's free Concerts on the Quay series! The weather was idyllic, the audience was very complimentary, and the performers had an absolute blast!

The show was rehearsed in the style of "original practices," meaning we had no director, a very small cast, and cue scripts. See, in Shakespeare's day, none of the actors had a full copy of the script, and because they were a fairly small troupe, many of the actors had to play multiple characters. Try those practices on for size, and the whole process takes on a new life.

In addition to our Utah-based troupe, the Grassroots Shakespeare Company has a new group located in Exeter, England.  This summer, we performed Romeo & Juliet in Grassroots' signature style at the Exeter Fringe Festival.

Our next performance, All's Well That Ends Well, will take place on Sunday July 25th in Kingsbridge, England.
